I really did not want to get out of bed this morning. Did not. So I left myself like 20 minutes to get out the door.

This outfit came together surprisingly well in my opinion - I really like the way the wavy trim on the top mirrors the ruffles of the skirt.

This was my first attempt at taking my own pictures with a timer - definitely not as easy as it looks! Anyway, my lighting was terrible and this isn't really a great picture of my outfit - but I kinda liked the picture anyway with how the light was coming through the stairs.

Last week's fashion Friday at work got deleted :( and this week our photog was out of town - so I thought I would try at my own pictures at home after work!

And now I'm off to go finish my glass of wine - have a good weekend!

Yay for Fashion Friday!

I was actually thinking about what I was going to wear allll week. On Wednesday I decided I wanted to go with mustard tights and ordered them from work (usually they arrive same day if you order them before 12pm) but they still aren't here :( Oh well!

This whole outfit was centered on my new, awesome shoes. These are also from work and I am in love with them. The fringe, the platform with the treads, the curved heel - ahhh, perfection.

So I thought these shoes in their redish, brownish, blackish glory go perfectly with navy (my favorite color) - so I chose my most favorite navy dress for the occasion. It has slowly been falling apart, but I will not give up on it yet! Fuzzies be damned!

I really love this jacket too, the collar detaches and its lined with faux shearling. And the headband and brooch, definitely some of my favorite accessories that I don't get to wear very often. This outfit definitely makes me happy! The power of dressing up! :)

On another note, I really need to learn how to position my face to lighting...
