Yay for Journaling!

Hi y'all! I know it's been pretty quiet around here for a bit but my intention is to change that, hopefully!!

I wanted to let you guys know whats been helping me a lot with life and happiness recently: journaling!

I started up a private journal online with Penzu, and I am still not sure how I feel about it - but I think I like it! I have several paper journals I have never really been able to keep, because they are in the wrong place, or I am afraid of making them ugly (hate crossing out words!), or whatever. So I decided to give online a try, because I can access it anywhere, I type faster than I write, and it's not like curious eyes can take a look at it whenever they feel like it. Plus, it's online so it can't get lost!

I try to write whatever I'm feeling, but I came across a few sets of questions that I really like and then composed my own list in line with my happiness goals:

1. Did I try to do my best today? In what way?
2. What was one thing I accomplished?
3. What did I do that I love today?
4. What did I try today that was new or outside my comfort zone?
5. Who did I tell I loved?
6. Who did I compliment? What compliments did I receive?
7. How did I take care of myself?
8. What was one thing that made me laugh today?
9. Did I learn (or re-learn) any lessons today? What was one?
10. What am I grateful for (5 gratitudes)?

Most days I at least try to answer this list to help me flourish, do things I love, be grateful, and just generally be happy. I like it a lot too!! You should do the same - it makes journaling super easy and it helps as a reminder to stay on track. The power of writing always amazes me!
