I think this sentiment is a difficult one for most of us - at least I know it is for me. I spend more time that I care to admit thinking about how great other peoples lives are. It's something I've tried hard to stop doing, because really we never really know what is going on with others, and also because we all have our own paths, but I still catch myself following those worn mental pathways of jealousy.

The idea behind this quote is a great one: put effort into who you are and the things you care about.
